"A smile changes your life"
In this show Huenchulaf plays in order to transform public, vehicles, animals and every element that is around the scenic space. He invites us to travel to a world without fear or limits, where anything can happen.
Different disciplines of classical, contemporary and street mime, acrobatics and clowning are mixed. Elements and techniques of juggling and manipulation are also used.
The intention is to always offer a new, fresh and different show by improvising with all the available elements.
His real name is Deivy Ruiz. Born in Viña del Mar, Chile, in 1986. Currently residing in Madrid, Spain.
He grew up in the world of street art. Her mother had a candy-cart in a park where all summer seasons mimes, clowns, puppeteers, jugglers and all kinds of artists arrived to perform. It was thanks to this, that one day he decided to dedicate himself to the art of street mime.
And it is been already fourteen years of work, traveling through Latin America and Europe. The first four years it was all self-taught until he was able to study at the "International School of Gestural Theater Nouveau Colombier", directed by Jose Piris, direct disciple of Marcel Marceau.
Mimo Huenchulaf acknowledges: "I'm not an acrobat or a juggler, but as a mime I try everything."
